Origin of Rainbows Foundation, Inc [“Company”] was founded in
July 2008 as a non-profit entity in order to educate the world
on colorism's impact on our history and future. The founders,
Chimene Davis-White and Bonnie L. Franklin have committed
themselves to the continued awareness of colorism and
encouraging new generations to re-evaluate self-worth based on
skin tone. In 2009, the founders brought in Robin McDougal
to provide a much needed educational facet to the project scope. In addition to sensitivity and awareness
training seminars as planned initiatives for K-5 to corporate
citizens, the Company plans to develop, produce, and
distribute the feature length documentary film, Origin of
Rainbows: Colorism Exposed. The founders have worked
steadily developing the documentary project since 2003.
